appears to be an outage in the Akron/Canton area for the second time tonight. Have data, no phone or text through Verizon

I've been having service issues since last night. However, when I went to work today (an hour away from home), it had no problems. I came home and I continued to have issues. It goes between 1XEV to no service, 1x, and 1xev, at different times. So it has interfered with my phone service as well as BIS/BES. I have a Storm 9530 and it even rebooted a few times last night. Once I caught the error and it mentioned a problem with the modem. It was just at 1XEV (fully working) but now its at 1X (with five bars).

So I had problems near Jackson, MI, but it worked fine closer toward Detroit. So perhaps my issue is part of this larger issue.

We were down in Georgia from about 5:30 AM – 9:00 AM. All is working now.

I never noticed any issues this morning. Some light BBMing and e-mails seemed to come in.

Was out from 6am to 8:30 am EST here in Atlanta, GA. Saw posts on Crackberry that people in TN, OH and IN also reported Verizon outage

I'm not on Verizon, but I can't get crap for data today on AT&T. It has been very spotty.
