Ha it just goes to show how good Bell is as well then to make this an official release. Bell never ceases to amaze me, they are like Canada's AT&T.

I wonder if they really QA it or if the purchasing manager throws it on his BlackBerry and says 2 days later "Yep it's good roll it out!"

shucks!! you beat me to it. Yes that is the answer switch to zen or today (depending on what your themes is) save the change. Then immediately switch back to today or zen.
This has been a bug on all 5.0 OS releases as far as I know... The theme isn't built for 5.0.

Anyways, the fix is rather simple (and rather annoying). Just go to your Home Screen Options, and change the layout from "Zen" to "Today" -- save all the way out... then go back in and change it back to Zen. It should give you the correct wallpaper.

All I have to say is "What do people expect with a non carrier released OS?" Seriously there is a reason why AT&T, Rogers or one of the major carriers have not released this OS. RIM will release OS to the carriers to do their own internal testing. The bigger carriers will use their own internal team to test the entire OS, and ensure it is working to their standards. If rejected they will be notified upon the next build released and they can test that ensuring the bugs from the last are fixed first. This process continues util the carrier is satisfied with the release.

From what I can see Vodafone UK is the only releaser of this build and it goes to show their QA team because I was able to find 5 bugs with it in the first week. Now the real question still is how does RIM think these are stable enough for release to the carriers for internal QA testing.

You get what you get i guess with a leaked OS or one that is not widely available.
