There is no need to create 3 icons
a)
simply select the "select Each Time" Button in the dial & mail configuration
b)
create a combined dial & mail link

this will give you one icon for all: Call (what ever number is stored in the associated contact) and Mail (sms, pim, eMail)

I tried Iconify and it didn't make sense that I needed 3 icons of my hubby on the screen..1 to call him at work , 1 to call him on his cell and one to SMS him. It looks like this new app may be better suited to actually contacting someone easily with one icon.
