This update has given me and many customers (I work T-Mobile retail) huge headaches w/ mine/their blackberry devices (Namely 8900s and 9700s). In most cases the the app simply won't run but I have seen it crash a few devices as well. I was a HUGE weathereye fan especially since it's one of the few free apps that shows current weather by changing its home screen icon.

I spent a long time with their tech support trying to get their update to work to no avail.

beweather light is an okay substitute, It's a shame that it nags you to upgrade to the paid version.
