		<description><![CDATA[Creating .jad files for example is useful for a couple reasons.&lt;br&gt;-You can install .cod apps locally on the BB, just copy the .cod files + .jad to your memory card or device memory, navigate to the .jad using a file explorer, run it and you can install with no PC at all.&lt;br&gt;-Apps installed without a .alx or .cod are wiped out if you do another app install through Desktop Manager.  If you install them using a .alx or .jad, they will be retained even if you install apps again through DM.]]></description>
