so i have come up with a work around.

when i manually archive a mail on the pc, i make a point of reading it first that way, the notification icon dissappears on the bb. (before i used to just check the box and label/archive)

All my rules i have for auto archiving and labeling mails on the pc (gmail site) i went in and have checked the box to mark emails as read when they archive them (this is an option). this way it also removes the mailbox icon on the BB.

so i am content, it is a slight pain but nothing major, hopefully they will fix this as things progress.

Anyone else having the same issue/doing anything better to make it work?

So the 2 way sync is definately working. archive a mail on the pc it dissappears on the bb. label a mail on the pc it gets the same label on the BB. read a mail on the pc and bam it gets un bolded on the bb. BUT... if you archive a mail on the pc... it dissappears on the BB (which is great) but the little notification icon remains - this is not so great, in fact it is so annoying i am thinking of going back to the old system. This is the same if you label a mail on the pc and archive it, it goes out of the inbox on the BB but the notification remains until you go into the label find the mail and actually read it. - any one else having this issue? any ideas for a fix. Other than this all is great.
