Rove have announced that they are now BlackBerry Alliance Elite Members. Rove’s flagship product is Mobile Admin, which allows IT administrators to resolve incidents, reduce downtime and improve customer service, all from their BlackBerry. Mobile Admin has over 2800 customers worldwide, including more than 80 Fortune 500 companies and five of the world’s 15 largest banks.
Rove also re-released their Mobile SSH client, which allows users to interact with their Unix, Linux and IBM hosts via Telnet and Secure Shell. The app is currently available for download in BlackBerry App World.

Smaato are a mobile advertising and ad optimization company and they’ve recently announced their March figures on mobile ad click-through rates (CTR). According to Smaato, Symbian leads in their global OS CTR index, followed by feature phones, Windows Mobile, Apple, Android, Palm and lastly BlackBerry.

Cortado Workplace allows users to remotely store and access documents via their PC, Mac or BlackBerry. The service offers 1GB of online storage for free and also enables users to print documents from the cloud using their BlackBerry. The reviews so far have been positive and Workplace is a free app so you have nothing to lose.

Golf Digest and Mobile Location Media have partnered to offer the Golf Digest GPS Range Finder. The range finder provides interactive layup and yardage measurement, scoring and gives you a preview of course maps. The Golf Digest GPS Range Finder is definitely on the expensive side at $5.99 per month, with no free trial. Again, this seems to only be available through the AT&T MEdia Mall.
This app is compatible with the Pearl 8110, Curve 8310, Curve 8900, 8800, 8820, Bold 9000, Bold 9700.
