The latest pictures of the BlackBerry Curve 9300 Kepler reveal something interesting about OS 6 and it’s rollback potential. The device, while it only has 256MB of RAM and is currently running OS 5, is on the 6.0 platform, which suggests it may be OS 6 capable. We have had some IT professionals write in to say that their carrier reps told them 256MB is the cutoff for OS 6, and if this is the case, many more devices than previously thought would be getting the OS 6 rollback. Again, only time will tell and we’ll have to wait until a couple OS 6 devices are on the market.
Other specs of the 9300 include:
- 3G
- WiFi
- 624MHZ processor
There may also be a 9320 and 9330 in development. These may have 512MB of RAM. Be sure to hit the jump and read the rest of the article for more pics.
