    actually, it will work, but you must do it from your blackberry and not from the pc…something about OAF over airwave files/?? I dunno, but open the actual link from your bb and it downloads automatically!!!!

    Hey man, thanks for posting this as I’ve been trying for ages to download the beta directly from Grindr but not word from them in almost a year. Is there a way you can send the link directly to my e-mail? It’s not allowing to access the site when I try to type it in.

    beta testing was announced a year ago with no recent updates. the program works fine for me, so i don’t see the issue in a full release. they’ve done more revisions in beta than they have in android which has been released public.

    its not overloading their servers. the beta testing is meant to work the kinks out in the program functionality, not their servers. their servers work fine.

    You can go to the menu of this version and there is an option to do update from the app. I just did it and it worked and updated to version 17. I don’t like the new updates 15 and 17 because the number of profiles it can show is only 50 where as earlier versions can show more. I have downgraded to earlier version

    can you describe how you get to the update menu? Quite frankly, I cant even see the grindr app icon on my phone. I have to access it through my downloads folder. Where the heck is the update menu?

    The reason you are probably getting an error is because Grindr has released the Grindr Xtra app for BB users. Although in my opinion it’s not worth it. There is no push notifications to alert you when you receive a message! You get a 7 day free trial but after that has expired you are required to pay for the service.

    Just switched my Blackberry and had to download the new Xtra version of Grindr.  It keeps showing me guys on the other side of the world.  Does anyone have the link for the older version?? I tried the links on here but they dont seem to work.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
