Get it on eBay. Type in unlocked blackberry pearl 3g 9100 or 9105 (depending on what keyboard you like). You can get white, black, black w/red, purple, pink. I have the phone in white and absolutely love it. <3 but I'm a blackberry pearl kinna girl so that could be why.

I used to use Pearl, and when I went to Bold 9700, my typing slowed down tremendously.
Trick to typing quickly on Suretype – deleting a letter and re-typing the same key eliminates the deleted letter from the selection. For instance, one key has A and S. If you want to type “ARE” and the BB enters “S” as the first letter (“SEE” is the same key sequence), you delete the S and keep typing. All suggestions that appear in drop-down then should start with an A.

As you keep using Suretype, your thumbs remember what sequence to press (A – backspace – SEE) to get the word you want. The extra two keys pressed for those commonly-used words are totally made up for and more by the speed of Suretype.

Well, that's just me. Each to his/her own.
