Deal or No Deal is a popular gameshow that involves opening a set of numbered briefcases, each of which contains a sum of money. The contestant begins the game by being assigned a case with an unknown amount that is revealed at the end of the game. To play the game, the contestant must choose cases to reveal their contents and after a certain number have been opened, the contestant is asked “Deal” (take the money offer and end the game) or “No Deal” (reject the offer and keep playing). It’s a high intensity game that could be a lot of fun on BlackBerry.
Check out Deal or No Deal for BlackBerry in the store. The game is currently only $2.99 which is a steal.

Mobholic is a fun app that lets you track your BlackBerry usage. The app has recently been updated with new features for tracking your stats, as well as a host of bug fixes. This app is turning out nicely and since the developers are students, it’s always good to support the community.
New features include:
- New website with 3D charts.
- Charts accessible also from the mobile app
- Ranking per Email Sending/ Receiving / Deleting
- Ranking per words typed in your Email.
- Ranking per distance traveled with your BlackBerry (if mobile phone supports GPS)
- Top Movers in the last 24 hours ranking.
Mobholic is available in App World for $2.99. While buying the application some might still fall on the old version of Mobholic due to an App World bug that is still not fixed since December. Email the developers support line and they’ll give you the updated version with proof of purchase.

Verizon has began to roll out its V Cast Apps on select BlackBerrys such as the Bold 9650, Storm2 9550, Curve 8530 and Tour 9630. The V Cast Apps store is going to provide users with a convenient way to purchase applications and add them to their monthly bill. Carrier billing is said to come with App World 2.0, and it looks like Verizon has beat them to the punch. If your BlackBerry is compatible and on BIS, you will receive an icon pushed to your device that links to V Cast Apps.
With such convenient app purchasing, it should be interesting to see how it affects App World numbers. Verizon has also claimed that their V Cast Apps has attracted several thousand developers. Developers selling apps on V Cast Apps will receive 70% revenue share on their apps, making it an attractable sales channel.

The Verizon BlackBerry Tour 9630 (with and without a camera) has been given an End of Life and will be receiving “limited shipments from the vendor”. This is a little surprising as the device is only about a year old. Regardless of what RIM marketing says, the BlackBerry Bold 9650 is the updated Tour and it looks like Verizon doesn’t want the first Tour around anymore. It’s really a shame that the original Tour wasn’t launched with a trackpad and WiFi because it would have probably had a longer life cycle.

It looks like Bell will be launching the BlackBerry Curve 9300 (aka “kepler”) which they are naming the BlackBerry Curve 3G. The 9300 is probably the least interesting device on RIM’s product line to be launched as it’s a minor upgrade in general. The device will run on Bell’s HSPA network and with come with some of the following:
- 256MB flash
- 256MB SDRAM
- Full QWERTY keyboard
- Bluetooh 2.1
- BBM
We’re not sure when this one launches but hopefully it will have a really low price point as it doesn’t seem too spectacular.

The above slide shows what is rumored to be a training slide for the upcoming BlackBerry Storm 3, which according to the specs looks like a somewhat minor update to the Storm2. We have been hearing a lot of rumors about the Storm 3, such as the fact that it will come with a new OS possibly developed in partnership with the recent QNX acquisition. If you’re going to believe these rumors, the device described here is more of a Storm2 refresh with BlackBerry 6. This makes sense as RIM will probably refresh all OS 5 devices to run OS 6 before they start rolling out what could be considered OS 7.
