Snake is one of the first computer games and the first mobile game ever. There are dozens of variants on a lot of early computer platforms. I remember playing Nibbles on Basic; it was awesome! Snake for BlackBerry is developed by AppliCod.
People are often reminded of the similarities between the Tron Lightcycle game and Snake. Snake’s tail-avoiding gameplay seemed to be the inspiration behind the versus play of Tron Lightcycles.

Google Voice has been updated to version 0.2.0.2 and as per the usual Google updates, there is no change log. It would be fun to talk about even minor performance improvements but nothing is certain. Feel free to download the latest update and let us know if you find anything.
UPDATE from Google Voice Blog: The Google Voice update features “direct access numbers” which lets users place calls much faster. Until this update, the Google Voice app had to make a request to the Google Voice server which added some lag to the service. With Direct Access Numbers, users have a unique phone number assigned to them for every person you call. This means you no longer have to access the server each time you make a call and the whole process is faster.

The app also works with hands-free devices such as Bluetooth headsets or built-in car systems.

Durak is a cool card game that is played throughout many post-Soviet states. The object of the game is simple: clear your cards before your opponent does. At the end of the game, the player with cards in their hand is referred to as the fool (Durak). The game rules are pretty simple and the game definitely lends itself to BlackBerry.
Features of Durak for BlackBerry include;
- Trackball or touch controls
- 2 to 4 players
- 3 difficulty AI levels
- Statistics of played games
- Clear design and animation
- Sound effects
Durak is currently on sale for nearly half off at $2.99 so it’s definitely worth picking up.
