Although AT&T doesn't really care if you upgrade or not as they get paid the same either way. RIM gets paid more for each 9800 then 9700 though.

I love my blackberry, and think they're great phones, but they are not compelling from a hardware standpoint. Charging 200 bucks is a joke for that phone when you put it side by side with the iphone or android offerings at the same price point.
