BlackBerry PlayBook Pricing Revealed? 8GB, 16GB and 32GB Models

It may be a little early to accurately predict or have concrete information about PlayBook pricing but the source was one of the first to get their hands on the PlayBook. Rumor has it that there will be 3 models of the PlayBook (8GB, 16GB and 32GB) and they’ll be available at following prices:

8GB: $399
16GB: $499
32GB: $599

Apparently all models will be identical in terms of features and functionality and we won’t expect a tablet with wireless carrier connectivity until some time in 2012.

With all the applications that will be available for the PlayBook, it’s tempting to go for the full 32GB but it looks like a 16GB PlayBook is a good compromise between size and price. What do you think – good price?

    hahaha 8gb????
that is not enough even for a phone.
16gb 499? Rim said it will be cheaper then ipad.
    It doesn’t have a chance :))))

I hope the pricing tiers are correct, but there is something bogus about this report. RIM has already stated that the PlayBook will come in 16 GB, 32GB and 64GB sizes.

    RIM has stated 16, 32, and 64.

If actually at those three prices it would be rather cheap…

It is enough for a phone, ipod, ipad, or any other electronic. The internet on it goes faster then the ipad’s, if it even has internet built in. So it does stand a very good chance. The Apple iPad has a couple problems, of course no electronic can be perfect but the Black Berry PlayBook is definately a good choice not just the iPad. The prices have nothing to do with how both of them work or how much GB any have or any you want it to have. If you want something worth keeping and runs good, try the Toshiba Thrive, Toshiba’s are really good computers and they tend to last longer then lots of computers, dell is a good choice also. Unless you like paying expensive like for a Mac, or an iPad :).

Good luck, just remember, don’t judge the computer by its brand.
