TELUS Users Can Now Buy Apps via Carrier Billing in App World

Back in early September we heard that TELUS would be the first carrier in Canada to provide carrier billing support with App World. The news was buried in a press release about the launch of the BlackBerry Torch in Canada and now users can finally take advantage of the service. So if you’re a TELUS user, head over to App World and give it a shot.

    Carrier billing has been rather popular so far on AT&T, so I am glad it is moving to more platforms…

    With the industry and manufacture/provider investors from large portfolio’s pushing & riding the popularity of smartphones the past 18mths I’m VERY suprised a concept in action done on feature phones has STILL taken so long to be available for smartphone carriers.

    Great news, especially for Canadians as a whole. The more moves Telus is making lately the more I’m considering changing providers.
