Okay so are you trading stocks or talking about a company? RIM not Rimm when your on your stock trading blogs you can use Rimm.

Android is just a new toy people want to play with it look at it then realize the experience is different for every other phone when looking for help. Oh this is not one of the 30 different flavors your looking for ahh sorry. Oh you want a good experience on the phone without your carrier blocking half the features, sorry you have to hack the phone. What kind of a phone is designed to be hacked? Oh hey guys were going to put out this cool phone but you have to hack it to make it really cool. Man I just rather buy a BlackBerry where you don't need to hack it just to use the cool stuff. What a joke these phones are, I can't wait to see people drop these things with their little kick stands as soon as their contracts are done. I have a few friends with Androids and they think the things are a piece of junk, they crash they can't get more then a day on battery. They see my new Torch and are like man I wish I had bought a BlackBerry instead. Only thing Android is getting is flashy new toy sales. Once the shininess wears off people realize what choice they should have made people will see the trend move.

Besides you opinion show me why Android is better then BlackBerry? Ill rip ever one of your facts and show how BlackBerry is better!

Rimm is the stock symbol. As to business users that was Rimm's bread and butter. In 2007 when the iPhone came out, Rimm went all in as the smartphone of choice and the sales went thru the roof. Problem is now that almost 50% of users are consumers. The stock and the company grew fat on consumers as they were the other phone to the iPhone. Now Android emerges and Verizon, T Mobile and Sprint (in the US) are more interested in Android then Rimm. If Rimm loses their consumers then the phones shipped will shrink tremendously. Rimm as business only will be half the current size/market cap. That is what is going to happen. Enjoy your DOS type phone Caspan.

The company name is RIM Research In Motion not Rimm and yes maybe it is 3 months out but that means nothing when people have the pre-beta in their hands. BTW its Sunday BlackBerry users are business people were resting, we don't need to worry about postings on batteries. Don't boast your Androids here and their 1 day battery life and their SMS flaws they have security holes like swiss cheese. You have fun with your open source security flaw. Let me remind you our devices are 100% secure, never been hacked or compromised.... NEVER. Android and Apple have been hacked a million times and they can't even prevent them from being jailbroken. Oh it's funny how Android people are on BlackBerry blogs looking for excuses to pull the leaders down.

Considering Rimm is supposed to ship this thing in the first 3 months of 2011 I would hope that they are almost done with the beta versions and ready to tweak it before mass production. But you are probably right, that Rimm is still working on the prototype and has not made it to pre-beta.

What is amazing is how few posts there are on these boards. A year or two ago it would be 50 posts by now. Today only you and me. Seems everyone else has moved on to Android and Apple.

hayweed THIS IS A PROTOTYPE..... Are you stupid? pre-beta units this mean units that are even before a beta. Do you think they built the first Lamborghini with a $50,000 engine in it the first day? No then just threw a engine in it while the finalized the rest and most important stuff is taken care of. You don't design something to fit something that is going to change. Sounds like someone else is scared and is looking for restarted reason to pick on RIM.

I cannot believe some people in this day and age are still this slow when it comes to simple things.

I like how they don't deny that the battery sucks they just state we need to tweak it to make it better. Also the fact that Rimm responded to a rumour shows how nervous they are about this product.

If the battery worked well they would say it is well beyond Wu's estimate and we have not added power management. The response is basically a hurried response that says Wu is right but we hope to make it better.

Total fail
