BlackBerry PlayBook for Business
RIM’s BlackBerry for Business blog posted a video demoing a simple way that the PlayBook can be used for business including reading and flagging emails, viewing presentations, and using business applications such as Flash-enabled dashboards from SAP BusinessObjects Explorer.
Once the device is paired, the email sync between the PlayBook and BlackBerry is pretty seamless. Viewing presentations and attachments on the PlayBook is simple and elegant, but we’re not sure how we feel about the virtual keyboard. One of the reasons we love BlackBerry so much is that the ergonomic keyboard makes writing long emails a breeze, and virtual keyboards don’t provide the same speeds. It looks like with a PlayBook, we’ll be going back and forth depending on what is needed. Either way,we’re looking forward to more videos.
