UberMedia is back online and back in the Twitter good books after they made some adjustments to their applications and the way they access the Twitter API. You can now download UberSocial (formerly UberTwitter) and get your tweets on.

Apparently the UberMedia ban was a long time coming, and according to a Twitter rep, “These violations include, but aren’t limited to, a privacy issue with private direct messages longer than 140 characters, trademark infringement, and changing the content of users’ tweets in order to make money.”

We’re glad the changes have been made because altering somebody’s tweets in order to make money is pretty underhanded. Do you even want to go back to a company that thought it was okay to do something like this? Maybe it’s time to try something different.

If you’re an UberFan and want to try UberSocial, head over to their site.
