Here is my idea: the app is called “Family and Friends” and lets you stay in touch over a secure connection with friends and family back home. It’s like a private network that allows everyone to blog, share pictures, read a private Twitter-style activity feed and generally stay in touch with people you love. While the soldier is in the field without a laptop, they can whip out their BlackBerry and through voice, pictures, text and video, feel like their family is right beside them.
