Comments

UPDATE: Epic Applications has let us know that Humans vs Aliens has been updated and the Level 6 issue is fixed.

We’re excited about the announcement of Android apps coming to the BlackBerry PlayBook but it will be some time before we see it on a smartphone. Epic Applications isn’t waiting and they’ve taken the popular Android tower defense game Humans vs Aliens over to the BlackBerry platform.

In Humans vs Aliens, your goal is to save the Earth from invading aliens. There are 17 unique animated humans ranging from flamethrowers to attack helicopters and 9 different types of encroaching aliens. The gameplay on the Torch is fun but some users are complaining of bugs when you get to level 6. We’ve played the first few levels and it’s a ton of fun. We’re sure the bug will be fixed momentarily.

Humans vs Aliens is launching with the introductory price of only $3.99 on BlackBerry App World, so check it out at this link.

They’ve got a sleek style, and unlike some other smartphone cases, it doesn’t make my BlackBerry look like a half-morphed Transformer.
