I just picked up the Brilliant Blackberry Apps for Dummies book and noticed on page 30 that they, too, mention Beaver Creek Consulting’s Contacts Cleaner as a must have. After seeing here on Blackberry Cool’s review, I made the purchase this morning. After 30 seconds, my 1000′s of entries within my address book became more condensed. All of the duplicates were merged quickly. Thanks for the review along with the screen shots.

Blackberrycool rocks! By following reviews like this one, I am staying current. I got Beaver Creek Consulting’s Contacts Cleaner. I had a quick question and got an immediate answer from their help desk. They were extremely helpful and, as a result, I have cleaned up the mess that was my address book.

Thanks Kyle for the excellent review. Based on your comments, I purchased Contacts Cleaner by Beaver Creek Consulting. It worked smoothly like you said and now I can just scroll through my address book quickly and efficiently. I don’t know I didn’t discover this sooner.

Interesting app that sounds great

I got this app a while ago, and it has pros and cons. It definitely deletes duplicates, but on my BB, it also merged several contacts that didn’t need to be merged. If I had one contact as “Aaron” and another contact as “Aaron Armstrong,” it merged them anyway for no reason smh. Decent app though, and decently priced.
