I have been wanting to start a yearly come to Waterloo event for RIM lovers, and I really wanted to start it this summer! I would really like to know, if I did this what peoples idea might be for stuff to do or how many people would love to come down to Waterloo to show their support for RIM?

As well just start a Friday night pub night first Friday of the month and all meet somewhere in Waterloo on a patio for us locals some place like the Heuther Hotel patio.

This is the same old attitude for anything. Look at school if the cool kids did something stupid then the people around him back him up and it’s okay. If the uncool kids do something wrong then they are laughed at and mocked for being idiots. It will always be the same, it’s sad because the cool kids are just trying to make themselves feel better for their decisions. So when I hear this stuff it just reminds me of the same analogy, people that think they are on top and just act like asses and jerks because of their choices. Actually I think they call it mob mentality or nob mentality as I call it. The funniest part if I call a lot of them out or I use to on BGR and when stuff goes right for RIM I don’t hear them anymore!

Just so you know it will always be Rogers in Canada to get the devices first. There might be a one off where they will give a different carrier first dibbs but I believe Rogers has the contract with RIM for first distribution on devices.

Right. I agree. RIMM makes the best Smartphones in the world today.
Too many cooks in the kitchen is not always good. It slows things down.
I love the look of their new phones. Fast, sexy, sleek, snappy.
Stop teasing us. When can I get one? I am on Telus, but if Rogers or Bell comes out first with it, I might jump ship to them. They always pay the cancellation fees. We are a fair size account.
