This just goes to show you, the carriers are going to be the death of RIM. Apple would have had Verizon iPhones taken off the shelfs if something like this was released.

RIM if you are reading this… Make sure when you get QNX out the door make sure you are in full control and you are able to directly talk to your customers.

Oh, dear.

Although I had a chance to play around with a 9900 in Orlando and was impressed with the touch screen’s responsiveness, this video makes it seems kind of choppy. I’d be a little embarrassed if I worked for Verizon.

haha… the same 1980ish hourglass in OS 7????

there is still something fishy with this ‘high end’ phone and the media/stock bloodbath RIM has been dealing with for the past 6mo was foreseeable 1-2 years ago, unless you have been living under a rock….

maybe QNX-powered phones will save the sinking ship, but the negative press associated with a legacy OS will take some time to heal from….
