When we last wrote about Poynt and BBM 6 integration, the app wasn’t yet available for download with the implementation. Poynt let us know that the app is now fully integrated with BBM and available for download. There new features are awesome so read on.
Poynt, the local search app that gives you everything you need in one app, has implemented the BBM Social APIs, allowing you to send listing details as well as the Poynt application to their BlackBerry Messenger contacts. Poynt users already have the ability to share their location and search results with their network through Facebook, Twitter and email. Now, Poynt users are also connected to their contacts via BBM.
In addition to BBM6 integration, Poynt has also just announced the addition of the Events feature for BlackBerry Playbook. Poynt’s Event search feature allows users to search events and venues nearby as well as by date, category or performer. Users can also view detailed event information powered by Eventful, including performer details, venue details and browse event websites and images.
