I think in order to decrypt Password Keeper or BB Wallet first you have to break the device password, if it is a password protected. If you fail then the wipe takes place.

I seem to recall the company said it will only sell to law enforcement or government. But I’m not sure about whether that’s a legal requirement or PR stance. The company is based in Russia so I can’t imagine there is much regulation.
