Push a Deal Launches Location-Based Deals Service in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal

Comments

Push a Deal has launched a really cool new service that uses the location of your smartphone to push deals to your device when you enter a geo-fenced area. This is something that apps like Foursquare could really leverage because you only know about deals if you actively go looking for them. Pushing deals based on geo-fencing makes the most sense. More after the jump.

In order for the deals to start flowing, vendors must register and create their deals. Push a Deal has a link for stores where they can sign up, create an offer online in 60 seconds, and start pushing deals. Stores can choose when to send out deal alerts, based on inventory, or how busy they are and therefore drive foot traffic when they actually need it. Additionally, For the first two months all deal redemptions for new stores will be free.

So if you’re in Toronto, Vancouver or Montreal, download Push A Deal and give it a try. Let us know what you think.
