We recently attended the BBM Hackathon in NYC where developers from all over came to a central place to put together some apps that leveraged the BBM Social APIs. RIM is now hosting these events globally and there is a list of dates for when these events will go down. We have 2 amazing prize packs to give away too so be sure to enter. More after the jump.
Each event is two days and we’re giving away 2 passes to BlackBerryCool readers. Each pass will give the recipient one of 30 slots available at the event nearest them. They will also receive one night’s accommodation, a BlackBerry Prize pack that includes a BlackBerry 7 device and, for the Toronto, Chicago and San Francisco, we’re able to offer those selected a pass to attend DevCon Americas and accommodations for the duration of the conference.
To enter, simply email us your app idea at “tips at blackberrycool dot com”. You must have development experience (either Java or Web) and an idea for a BBM app, or an app that ties to the BlackBerry Social Platform.
