You’ve got a point but gestures will only take you so far. The fact is that this device is not a good choice for anyone that sends a lot of messages. That being said, I’ve found it pretty good for casual reading.

The problem is not the virtual keyboard. the problem is the lack of ad-hoc gestures for full touch devices, such the double tap on a tab to reach the top of the list on twitter, already present gesture on other non-rim devices
