Smarter Apps let us know that they’ve updated their free Zombie Attack game to include 200 levels (a bump up from the previous 100). Zombie Attack is definitely worth a download as it’s a fun Angry Birds style game with a cool “nuke” feature that lets you skip levels for a dollar.

Google has announced that they’re cutting support for their native gmail client for BlackBerry as of November 22nd. Some mobile industry writers believe that this is some kind of corporate maneuvering to make the Android platform more appealing. I think it’s obvious that most BlackBerry users prefer accessing their Gmail accounts using the BlackBerry email client. I applaud Google’s decision to remove an app that didn’t mesh well with their software philosophy of keeping interfaces clean, simple and fast.
Adobe gets a lot of criticism when it comes to Flash on mobile and the company has recently announced that it will no longer adapt Flash Player for mobile devices to new browser, OS version or device configurations. PlayBook owners do not have to worry because apparently Adobe will continue to support the current Android and PlayBook configurations with critical bug fixes and security updates.

We’ve complained quite a bit about BlackBerry commercials on this site. Mostly because they would always promote boring features like the keyboard, over some of the cool apps and things you can actually do with your BlackBerry. The latest ad really hits the nail on the head about why a BlackBerry is best: you get a ton of stuff done fast and efficiently. Oh, and it’s already turned into a meme. Nice.
