eBuddy has announced the recent launch of XMS for BlackBerry. XMS is a free cross platform messaging service that also has the ability to send video and images.

The real-time messaging app is currently available for BlackBerry, iOS, Android and Windows Phone 7 with Nokia soon to follow. The service offers free unlimited messaging across all supported platforms complete with send/read notifications. XMS also uses your contact’s Facebook profile pic for avatars while chatting.
