RIM sent over the official PlayBook OS 2 press release and it points to the features that we expected to come with PlayBook OS 2. Again, the latest update brings PIM features such as Email, Calendar and Contacts. This is going to change the way #teamblackberry uses their PlayBook and it’s a really exciting time.

Today RIM announced that the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 is now available via a free over-the-air software update.
This release provides users with a number of features that enhance content and improves communications, productivity, and connections, including:

  • Documents To Go and Print To Go, giving users the business tools that put the power of a laptop in a tablet for maximum productivity on the go.

    Amazing.  I have two Blackberries, one Enterprise and the other BIS.  I can get my emails via IMAP (BIS) service and Bridge with Enterprise.   Perfect for a marketing guy and Government worker.

    This is why people are scared of the Playbook.  The functionality is like none other and I’m sure this is just the beginning.

    Standing by faithfully with a truly great Canadian product.  Now we just need some more aggressive marketing.  Stop being the nice guy and really take on the competition head to head.  You have the better product RIM and you know it.
