RIM is just allowing developers many points of entry into the platform and that makes a lot of sense. But at the end of the day, everyone knows a true commitment requires native.

Good point. RIM actually had a great presence at GDC. Many of the BlackBerry sessions I attended at GDC were almost full. You could argue it’s because they thought they were getting free PlayBooks but the end result is the same.

The Ottawa Game Conference is a regional event. Regional indie developers are eager for almost anything. To get a proper sense of the drive to be on Blackberry, you have to make a big splash at an IGDA GAme Developer’s Conference or E3.
