BlackBerry has been fortunate enough to be relatively free of these sorts of stories for a long time, but now some relatively isolated reports of a few variants of the Zeus trojan are starting to be seen in the wild in Germany, Spain and Italy.

Sharing code similarities to an Android variant of the same trojan, these incidents involve sending keystoke info to proxy mobile devices based in Sweden. This trojan disguises itself as a German app called Zertifikat but can probably take the form of another OTA app too. Kind of makes you glad for those annoying permissions messages that user must accept in order for apps to be installed.
