I’ve noticed that Thorsten Heins’ freshly shuffled management team has been conducting more interviews recently. It’s a big change from before RIM’s new CMO Frank Boulben took the top job as RIMs chief marketer.
RIM CEO Thorsten Heins has been busy writing an op-ed, making time for bloggers and conducting radio interviews while other execs get interviewed in a Q&A fashion like CMO Frank Boulben and CIO Robin Beinfait.
I feel that they’re trying to demonstrate a bit of corporate transparency and more importantly it feels like they’ve opened a no nonsense dialogue with BlackBerry clients everywhere. Whatever their motivations I think it’s great that the people at the helm of this company are also the most publicly vocal.
