The Jared Company has been developing apps for BlackBerry for some time now and the company has at least a few apps that have huge download numbers. The company seems to be dipping into its email list to check whether its users will be upgrading to BlackBerry 10, most likely to gauge how much the company should invest in BlackBerry 10. Amazingly, 70% of the survey’s respondents said they’ll be upgrading their current BlackBerry smartphone to BlackBerry 10.
It’s important to note that this survey also helps ease the concerns of those who may think this doesn’t apply to the Western World. According to Steven Kader, founder and chief executive officer of The Jared Company (JaredCo), most are from the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom, as well as other countries where the BlackBerry App World™ storefront is available.
“Nearly 70 percent of the 5,732 survey respondents said they plan to buy a BlackBerry® 10 smartphone when they are ready to replace their current BlackBerry smartphone.”
