BlackBerry App World gets New Marketing Meta-Data Features for Apps


BlackBerry App World has completely changes the way users download and experience apps. RIM has announced that they’ve updated how the marketing meta data is handled to improve the App World customer experience come the launch of BlackBerry 10.

This is a boon for developers who have a healthy installed customer base on legacy BlackBerry OSes (5, 6 and 7) because they’ll be prompted to download your latest offering of the same app when they launch App World for the first time on BlackBerry 10.
