RIM Hosts 36-hour Worldwide Port-A-Thon for BlackBerry 10

One of benefits of BlackBerry 10′s new platform is how easy it is to port your existing Android or iOS app. In anticipation of the launch of BlackBerry 10 next months, RIM is hosting a virtual 36-hour Port-A-Thon for BlackBerry 10 and offering developers loads of incentives including live support during the event.

Developers enjoy free online technical support from the experts at the RIM development relations team during the day and a half long online event. RIM will also be dolling out cash rewards per eligible app up to 20 apps per applicant.

Be one of the first 200 participants to submit over 5 apps will receive a free BlackBerry 10 dev alpha device.

Be one of the first 10 participants to submit over 10 apps will receive a trip to BlackBerry Jam Europe in Amsterdam for the big launch.
