Why The Most Important BlackBerry Z10 Accessory Is A Case

For those of you who currently own a BlackBerry Z10, there’s an interesting engineering decision that you should know about. Every touchscreen device has something called a digitizer, which is the part of a touchscreen that senses your touch and “digitizes” your gestures into impulses that the phone can understand as commands. With the BlackBerry Z10, this digitizer is fused right to the glass, meaning if you break the screen, you break the digitizer and the device instantly becomes a paperweight.

BlackBerry Z10 Accessories Now Available in Rogers Retail

The BlackBerry Z10 went on sale with Rogers yesterday with a launch event in Toronto. If you’ve picked up a Z10 and you’re looking for accessories, we highly recommend the extra battery pack. After using the device since launch, it looks like the device only gets about a half to 3/4 day as a Power User. With the extra battery pack, the Power User should be able to consistently get full days.

BBM Music and BlackBerry Music Gateway Reviewed

We recently got one of the new BlackBerry Gateways in-house to review and it seemed like a good time to talk about BBM Music as well since the two sort of go hand-in-hand. The BlackBerry Gateway product has been out for a while but the latest version has some new features including NFC support so you can “tap to pair”. BBM Music on the other hand, hasn’t really changed much and is probably getting a little side tracked with RIM’s focus on BlackBerry 10.
