american airlines blackberry program

The term ‘road warrior’ is practically synonymous with BlackBerry, so today’s announcement from American Airlines is going to excite a lot of people. RIM is now officially a participant in American Airline’s AAdvantage program, meaning that AAdvantage members can now earn 4,000 AAdvantage bonus miles when they purchase a new BlackBerry at an online store powered by online retailer Simplexity.

To receive the 4,000 AAdvantage miles, customers must visit http://www.blackberry.com/aa, complete a qualifying purchase of a BlackBerry phone with a new or extended wireless plan, and provide their AAdvantage account number at checkout.

Of course, once you have your new BlackBerry and AAdvantage miles, you can then visit American Airline’s mobile site to book flights, change many domestic reservations, view fare specials, and request upgrades.

Comments

American AirlinesIn tandem with JetBlue’s announcement, American Airlines will also be offering Wi-Fi on transcontinental flights on their Boeing 767-200s for ten bucks a pop.
