BlackBerry Bold coming soon to Austria

BlackBerry Bold from A1

While Austria usually tends to get stuff shortly after Germany, it looks like they’ll be getting it right on time with everyone else when it comes to the BlackBerry Bold. A1 will shortly be offering the BlackBerry 9000 for € 249,00 ($US 399), presumably with a contract considering the T-Mobile Germany price was clocking in at €550 ($US 880). T-Mobile will also be offering the BlackBerry Bold in Austra, if this Ebay auction is any indication. While we’ve heard about a lot of the larger countries (Australia, Canada, United States, Germany, etc.) getting the BlackBerry Bold lovin’, it’s good to see that the launch is reaching as far and wide as possible.

Cheers, Greez!

Austrian flagAustrian carrier Mobilkom A1 has announced their release of the BlackBerry 8310, offering it for €199. To make the deal a little sweeter, Mobilkom A1 will throw in 6 months of free GPS navigation software for anyone picking up the 8310 before the end of October. It’s typical for Austria to get devices just a little bit after Germany, and the BlackBerry 8310 is no exception. Mobilkom A1 also took the opportunity to offer free BlackBerry Connect software for the Nokia E90, Nokia E61i and the Sony Ericsson P1i.

Press release behind the jump.

T-Mobile LogoWe’re GPS freaks here at BlackBerry Cool, so any time we can welcome more to the fold, we do so gladly. T-Mobile Austria announced yesterday that they’re now offering the famed Telenav GPS navigation solution for their BlackBerry 8800 customers. BlackBerry Pearl, BlackBerry 7130 and BlackBerry 8700 users can also use the service with the help of a GPS puck.

T-Mobile is offering a free 30 day trial of the Telenav solution to get their subscribers hooked, and then charging €8 per month after that. Sounds like the perfect solution to make sure you don’t get lost while backpacking the Alps on a European vacation. Go here for more info.
