mCaller Beta testing – Cool Tool Pack winner announced!


A special thanks goes out to all the BBCool readers who participated in mCaller’s Beta program. Your feedback has been incredibly valuable and constructive. The participants came from a wide range of professions, all of whom relied on their BlackBerry devices for accurate record keeping.

    gwabbit is an interesting product that was at WES this year. The app goes through your email looking for signatures. It then takes the information displayed in the signature, and uses it to add the person to your contacts.

    The app was previously only available for desktop, but they now have a sneak peak beta available for download. The company is still putting the finishing touches on the app which will be made publicly available on May 26th.

    Free robust BlackBerry memopad app in public Beta



    ActionPad is a replacement application for the original BlackBerry MemoPad. It provides quick access to memos for boosting your productivity. The app can be downloaded for free. It now works on the BlackBerry Storm and supports memo encryption for more privacy and security.

    The application is now in a public Beta phase.

    BETA test a new VeriSign password app for BlackBerry



    VIP Access by VeriSign is an app that will generate a password for your AOL, eBay and PayPal accounts. It’s optional and free to consumers, but if you sign up, no one can get in your account without your user ID, your password, and the six-digit number generated by your phone. It’s a great way to keep your accounts as secured as possible.

    VeriSign are currently BETA testing for particular BlackBerry models so see if you’re model is eligible.
