RIM sponsored a project at the Art Center College of Design and designers Kiki and Daniel came up with a design for a concept phone called the BlackBerry Empathy. The design is really out there with sharp corners and a form factor that looks like it came from Superman’s home planet. The concept phone apparently requires a biometrics ring that is worn by the user to collect “emotional data”. The device also features an OLED screen that becomes transparent when not in use.
