Elecite have a new theme out called Sentient. It looks pretty cool and features an animated shield with 6 customizable icons. It’s easy to use and the navigation is pretty user friendly. As with most Elecite themes, the icons could do with a little work.
Sentient is $6.99 and available for the Storm, 8900, 9700, Bold & 9600 (OS 4.7 & 5.0).
These elecite themes are getting better and better. The latest is called Stasis and it’s available for both the Storm and Storm2. All you have to do is make sure to download the 5.0 version of the theme.
This theme comes with 6 customizable icons, open and close hatch buttons and is full of animations. Even though it looks cluttered, the theme is very easy to navigate.
Shell is a really decent theme from Elecite that includes color changing options from within the theme. Your theme can have black, red, white or blue background images. There are four dedicated application buttons in a dock, as well as 9 more customizable hidden icons.
Please Note: Be warned that themes have been known to be buggy on the Storm2 and OS 5. See our post on potential fixes for this bug.
I have loaded the official OS 5.0.0.328 on my BlackBerry Storm 9530 and my themes are broken. There has been some buzz about this in the forums and I’ve tested the theory using an Elecite theme on my Verizon 9530.
What happens when you load a theme with the latest official OS 5 build, is very worrying. If you go into landscape mode from the homepage, and scroll, you get the dragging window effect (see the above screenshot). Also, some of the buttons in my theme, such as the “media” button, no longer work.
The Verizon BlackBerry Storm 2 is shipping tomorrow with OS 5.0.0.320 (according to the device I’m holding in my hands now) and now I’m worried the whole themes business is crushed for Storm users.

Elecite are known for making some really decent BlackBerry themes and they have recently launched a free theme. The theme, Scenic, comes with 5-6 bottom dock icons and an assortment of over 50 icons to choose from.
According to Elecite, this is a gift as a thank you to the community.
The theme is available for all BlackBerry devices except the Pearl 8100 series.

Elecite are back with a new theme and this one is inspired by the HTC Sense UI. The theme is very attractive as well as interactive with tri-screen animations on all supported devices.
After downloading the theme, you’ll notice that sliding to the right brings up a dedicated media screen with pictures, music and media buttons and photos. Sliding to the left will display today section for calendar, call log and messages. These features make this theme great for those who use their BlackBerry media functionality to the fullest. Hitting the menu button will bring up a list of 5-6 quick-launch icons such as Options, MemoPad and so on.
Another favorite included in this theme is the dedicated weather slot in the middle and 4 customizable icons.
Hero is supported on BlackBerry Storm, Bold, 8900 and Tour and costs $6.99.
The latest theme from Elecite is the Archaic theme. It slides horizontally between four pages giving you a customizable icon dock, calendar list, message list and media page. If you have a BlackBerry 8350, 8500, 8900 or 9000, you can change the wallpaper for further customization. This is a really clean theme and it will run smoothly on your device.

The latest theme from Elecite is called Spear and it supports all the latest BlackBerry models including the 8900, Bold, 9630, 8350i and the 8520. Big apologies to Storm users out there as it is not yet compatible for their device.
The Spear theme features the battery and signal meters that you will remember from Analog, with 8 sliding customizable icons. The green color scheme is sure to please as well.

Elecite have a new theme called Focus. It features 10 HDR nature photos that circulate in the background each hour, much like the Urban theme.
The homescreen is the most unique part of this theme, with a circular arrangement of 8 customizable icons. Overall, this theme looks like it would be best for Storm users, but trackball users will love it too. Also, combining nature and technology always makes for a nice Ying and Yang.
