BlackBerry has made a lot of changes to BlackBerry World, its app distribution portal, with the launch of BlackBerry 10. The new portal has a lot of positive design elements on BlackBerry 10 devices, as well as it received a makeover on the desktop. It’s Monday for everyone else but Matthias Marquardt has been busy updating his amazingly useful BlackBerry apps. The updates cover a lot of eMacBerry apps such as Dropbox-enabled FileScout, location logger GPSLogger II, audio book player TOMPlayer and location automation tool LittleBrother.

But there’s still some unanswered questions and concerns.

We recently heard from Emacberry founder, Matthias, who told us that while his BlackBerry media player was decent, it lacked some crucial functionality for his listening needs. In particular, when a playlist is loaded, one would expect that the app will remember the last position in the playlist, as well as the track. So he decided to create TOMPlayer, a media app that has this functionality. Click through for the full description and download links.
