It’s a pretty lax day here at BBCool HQ, with the rest of the staff off at the cottage (or for my fellow Northern Ontarians out there: “camp”) and myself heading to a BBQ-fest momentarily. However, like our Viigo post, this one deserves a little bit of attention on a quiet day. Our fellow Ottawans over at TrueContext have announced the launch of Pronto Team for BlackBerry, an on-demand field service solution designed to help teams speed up field service and billing.
With Pronto Team, BlackBerry users can now go to the web, create a free trial account, change/customize a range of sample forms, and download them to their device for immediate use. Forms (like Service Order) can be pre-filled and dispatched, and completed data is sent back to the secure Pronto portal, for viewing, printing, or exporting to Excel. Users can upgrade to Pronto Enterprise if they require deeply integrated and fully customized solutions with BlackBerry Maps, device peripherals, back-end systems, or custom form workflow/logic. Sounds pretty cool.
