WWF-Canada and Polar Mobile have launched an app using Polar Mobile’s SMART Platform. The app gives users updates users on the latest WWF-Canada news, from conservation successes, stories and videos to details on upcoming events in Canada and around the world.

For those who don’t know about the non-profit, the WWF aims to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.

Polar Mobile Introduce MINT Platform for Fast BlackBerry Apps

Polar Mobile are known for creating BlackBerry and smartphone apps for content publishers. At MWC, the company announced a new platform called MINT, which is a white label solution for businesses that want a BlackBerry app. From the press release, it seems as though they’ve made so many BlackBerry apps that they now have templates they can use to quickly churn out an app for any content company.
