Nobex Radio Companion has gone v 1.9.7 and they have some great updates for those whose native tongue isn’t English.

With this latest version, Nobex now supports French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. In addition, they have now reached around 3000 playable stations from all corners of the globe.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Nobex, the application is a streaming radio service that features:

  • Over 2000 radio stations around the world.
  • See the playlist of over 2700 radio stations.
  • Get Songs or Ringtones with a single click.
  • Get an email with links to buy the song on your PC.
  • See Lyrics of any song – they can even scroll in sync with the song!
  • Read Song and Artist Info.
  • Hear Song Snippets.
  • Access the My Account page to upload pictures to be shown within Nobex Radio Companion and to see your favorite song list.

Nobex Radio Companion is available for a monthly subscription of $3.99.

Radio streaming for BlackBerry with iHeart Radio

Clear Channel has launched iHeart Radio for BlackBerry following their success with iPhone. WIth iHeart Radio, you can stream 150 of Clear Channel’s radio stations – all over cellular data networks or WiFi networks. The BlackBerry iHeartRadio application allows users to bookmark their favorite stations, tag songs and randomize radio streams. All music is broadcast in “high quality AAC.” The iHeartRadio BlackBerry application is currently only available on the BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry Curve and BlackBerry Pearl. The BlackBerry Storm is listed as “Coming Soon.”
