Cortado has a bunch of solutions for consumers and enterprises. Right off the bat, they’ve got a free email offer for mobile phones, offering push email and a web interface. For enterprise customers, they have a server solution that allows you to copy files from the server to your BlackBerry and vice versa. This allows some neat applications such as saving emails to the server to share them, or picking any document on it and sending it via email right from your phone. They also have a printing app that will print off pretty much anything on your BlackBerry to a Bluetooth-compatible printer quickly and easily. There are way too many product to mention them all here, so be sure to check ‘em out at WES for some demos.

RepliGo is the flagship product from Cerience. The software, which can be installed and administrated on BES or via subscription to Cerience, allows users to view a wide variety of files on their BlackBerry. PDFs, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint docs, rich text files, faxes, images, and more can all be accessed directly from your phone. You can even print to an HP PCL Bluetooth printer or fax documents without sitting at a computer. It plays nicely with any other attachment services present on BES, and works with Microsoft Exchange, Novell GroupWise, or Lotus Domino.
We hadn’t heard a peep from our good friends over at ThinPrint since WES, but it looks like the wait was worth it. Cortado, a division of ThinPrint, announced the release of Content Beamer 3.5, the latest update to their successful document management solution. Content Beamer 3.5 allows BlackBerry users to both access and store documents found on the corporate network, manage network directories, organize PowerPoint presentations, and fax and send documents to a printer.
“Mobile workers using a BlackBerry smartphone with Content Beamer don’t have to carry their laptop with them all the time,” says Nina Kroll, Business Development Manager of ThinPrint’s Mobile Solutions Unit. “Companies can achieve enormous savings through this deployment, as they only require a data tariff and can lower the costs usually incurred by virtual private networks, support, and insurance. Productivity also increases, through a reduction in back office activities.”
