New Salesforce HTML5 Site Expected to Work With BlackBerry 7 Devices


Salesforce has announced that it will be launching a new version of salesforce.com that is redesigned to work with touch screens. The site touch.salesforce.com will use HTML5 and will allow you to access the site from any smartphone or tablet, including BlackBerry 7 smartphones (as seen in the screenshot after the break). Salesforce Chatter Coming to BlackBerry By Year End

Salesforce recently announced Chatter Mobile – a free smartphone app that will bring CRM and social networking together for BlackBerry by year-end. The app is a mobile version of Salesforce’s Chatter collaboration service launched back in June, and will allow users to follow feeds related to sales opportunities, top accounts, service issues, reports, metrics, bosses, colleagues, projects, groups and more. Chatter Mobile is likely going to be a success considering around 20,000 Salesforce customers alreaady use the desktop version of Chatter.
