One of the first games I ever downloaded on the PlayBook was Keep Up!. It’s a simple game and the developer Szello, was one of the first to market getting a game on the PlayBook. I recently met up with Tareq, the founder of Szello, and it turns out he used to be a RIM employee and is now doing his own company. You should definitely check out Keep Up! and keep an eye on Szello for future product releases.

We have a lot of free unofficial World Cup 2010 BlackBerry themes just in time to cheer on your favorite team. The World Cup 2010 themes were developed by Catalyst Multimedia, members of ID-GTF, a Blackberry theme developers community in Indonesia (GTF is short of Garage Theme Factory). These themes feature:

  • 4 nice looking wallpapers
  • Customized underlay application screen button
  • Customized battery meter
  • Customized signal meter

Uploading these themes was a lot of work so if any of the links are broken, make sure to tell us in the comments and we’ll fix them.

Viigo introduces soccer updates – UEFA, La Liga, Serie A and MLS

Viigo has upgraded all of their European soccer (or football) coverage including UEFA Cup, UEFA Champions League, English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and have now introduced MLS. The upgrades include improved live scores and complete game scores across the board. They have also added standings and schedules as well as team by team scores and schedules.

The news comes as Major League Soccer has begun its 13th season, and Viigo’s home team, Toronto FC, are in their third year. Viigo is here to help you stay current on what is going on in the league.
